Timber by timber
I built my walls.
Fire easily got through them
and I learned
to make them of stronger stuff.
So brick by brick
I rebuilt my walls.
The problem with bricks
is that they can be chipped away,
kicked in.
Now I place the last steel wall
where it belongs
and breathe a sigh of relief.
Nobody will get through this one.
