Transmigration

My heart bleeds out
	the blood runs backwards
I'm floating away
	on rotten wooden boards
Far off a sweet melody
faintly makes its way to my ears
Slightly I remember
my life these past few years
Grim slim diagnoses
my heart seeps down and down
Funny little men
	wearing surgical gowns
Opening me up
	tearing down the walls
Despair enters in
	through the hole it crawls
Dehumanizing treatments
that make me sicker than before
I decide enough's enough
and vow to go through no more
Slowly painfully I leave,
	exit, separate body from soul
Soul from body
My blood seeps out the hole.
